Wiki Telehealth inpatient consult

Our hospital contracts with a Telehealth medicine group to provide assistance for our ER and Inpatient patients. We bill for our ER doctor's services and NP hospitalist services. If our provider asks for a telehealth consult can we bill for the telehealth service and the hospital providers services on the same day?

hello, I am not an expert and still learning. these Telehealth consult codes are complex because they have lots of rules. I found very good material on AAPC forum but don't remember under what specialty. someone asked the same question. Please use Search field to find it. I think it was posted under E/M Forum. Again, lots of rules like was it a written report or written and verbal, timing ++++. I have a feeling not billable.
