We are a specialist group wanting to bill telehealth but do NOT have an online portal how would we go about billing since they will not be conducting a normal
E & M?

Under emergency orders for the corona pandemic, you may use a non HIPAA compliant televideo platform such as Skype or FaceTime to do these visits. You may use the 992xx or the 99421-23 codes for these real time video visits.
Normally, you may only use these for established pts but the emergency order say you may use the 992xx codes for new patients right now. The patient still needs to initiate the contact requesting these visits but you can then set up a call back using one of the televideo platforms.

We are a specialist office as well. We purchased the compliant platform called ZOOM with multiple licenses, so provider and patient can see and hear eachother and we bill the same as an office visit.

Hello, our physicians started using Zoom but find it cumbersome with EPIC integration. Do you have EPIC and if so, do you have a good tip sheet that you can share?
thanks!
