Can an E/M visit be billed the next day after telehealth, must it be 24 hours?

If the telehealth was an audio only call (CPT codes 99441-99443) then you can bill the E/M service, but you cannot bill the telehealth audio only call that lead to the patient being seen in the office.
CPT codes 99441-99443 state "Telephone evaluation and management service by a physician or other qualified health care professional who may report evaluation and management services provided to an established patient, parent, or guardian not originating from a related E/M service provided within the previous 7 days nor leading to an E/M service or procedure within the next 24 hours or soonest available appointment" Hope this helps.
