Tb screening- not ppd skins test
Hello again,
I have a dilema. so when a patient comes in for TB screening, acoording to the CDC is not recomended to test(skin test) patients that are not HIGH risk.
There is a series of questions that they must answer to identify if a PPD skin test is necessary.
For those patient that do not require a PPD skins test, can we bill a 99211 nurse visit??, we have the questionary and it is signed off by a nurse in some cases signed by a doctor depending on the form that is completed.
I am just not sure since it does not meet the "incident to '" rule.
Please help,
Saul
