Wiki Taking CPC Exam in June of 2010-would like externship/Colorado Springs

I have at least 12 years of experience working in the medical field. I started working in Medical Records where I got to do abstracting for the coders and I also analyzed charts. I have also been involved with the registration process; obtaining authorizations and handling payments. I have had training to become a financial counselor, which helped individuals set up payments plans or applied for state AHCCCS. I have worked on denied claims, that were coded incorrectly. This is just a brief work history, I am looking to gain more coding experience. I feel this would help me pass the CPC examination. I live in Colorado Springs on Fort Carson.
