I am wondering if I should code the synovectomy as the op report states, with regards to the synovectomy, " trimmed to review the patella". One of the diags is synovitis. Thanks!

technically you can. But as we lost the chondroplasty (29877) in 2012 carriers are now starting to combine the 29875.
