Hi! I have a question that can hopefully be answered on this site. My Dr. saw a pt. in the hospital that is considered a swing bed patient. What I have read stated it can be billed as either in patient or nursing home facility. I know it was a rehab pt., so am assuming they came from nursing home. I am billing this as inpatient. would this seem o.k?
