Hoping someone can help with this.
Indications:
Pt underwent CABG on (date). Has IABP in place and remains on inotropes and pressors. Felt Swan Ganz cath would be benificial and further cardiac monitoring.
Tech:
Existing left subclavian central line was prepped and after it was removed, Swan-ganz catheter was floated into place with confirmed PA waveform/pressure.
Is this even billable or does this fall under global?
If billable, would I code just a 93503 w/ mod or is there a replacement code to use, such as 36581? Not familiar with coding catheters.
