Our gynocologic oncologist did an emergency hysterectomy following an emergency c-section, done by another doctor. The OBGYN will bill the c-section and I don't know if we can bill the add-on code for the hysterectomy following c-section, 59525, since we didn't do the delivery. Also, if we need to use modifier -54, surgical care only.
