One of our physicians (urology) did a ureterolysis on a patient that was already under going a procedure by another physician (general surgery)
Our physician did his part of the case using the incision already made by the general surgeon..Should this get a 52 modifier for reduced services since the incision was already made ?

Hi Rebecca, I had this same situation occur recently and per my supervisor it does get a 52 modifier when the incision in made by another provider.
