Hello everyone!
So I'm having a bit of difficulty with this one. I tried to look around online and found nothing. And as far as my coding book, of course I didn't find it in the index. So I was thinking possibly 726.19? Of course, reading the MRI, I found a few other things in there, but I can't use them because they weren't in the dictation.... Any suggestions? Thank you!

superior sublabral sulcus

Hi,

The superior sublabral sulcus is a normal variant of the superior sublabral recess, which is normally present at the attachment of the biceps tendon to the glenoid labrum. So we cannot take any disease conditions for this abnormal findings.

My suggestion is 793.7, (Nonspecific (abnormal) findings on radiological and other examination of body structure). If any instruction given by your provider you can use 726.19 code.

Thank you for all your help :) after reading the MRI, it shows she has a degenerative labral tear so I'm going to code for that, but i will definitely make a note of the one you gave me :)
