Patient returns for aftercare s/p sinus surgery, diagnosis normally coded with a V-code. However, in this case, patient is having stent removal (placed during surgery) and physician has coded the diagnosis as chronic sinusitis once again (473's) even though the surgery had good result. What would be a more appropriate way to code the diagnosis?
