Can any one give me advice on how to code for a patient who had a biliary obstruction and had a ercp with stent placement. Now he is presenting for a removal of the stent. Stones were also removed after the stent was removed so I used 43264 and 43269 with 574.50 I was told that I needed to add V53.59 I just don't see how this is appropriate. Any guidence? thank you
