If a patient is 10 days out a Medial Menisectomy(29881)Ect. Would you code that with ICD-9 code

V67.09 or V54.89?

It depends on the documentation, follow up is a surveillance, and follow up implies that the provider documents active aftercare such as wound care, dressing changes, etc
