Wiki staging pressure ulcers

Hi all,
I don't understand the 707.20 - 707.24 "healing" part.
Does a pressure ulcer have to be "healing" in order to be assigned these codes?
If yes, then what all do I use for a "stage iv" that is NOT healing?

You would use 707.24. It's a stage IV ulcer whether its healing or not.
