I would like to know how other surgical centers are currently billing surgical codes at multiple levels.
Example: CPT code 64772. L3 and L4.
Are you billing the code several times if billing for multiple levels? Or are you billing once and adjusting each level as a unit?
Also, do you need to specify L versus R or levels in the actual billing? Or will it suffice that the specifications are in the operative report?
