Is there a difference between a cord herniation and a disc herniation in ICD.9 codes?

I am familiar with herniated disc, cervical through lumbar, but I have this language "upper thoracic cord herniation" and I am not finding any herniation of upper thoracic cord.

Use the disc code? Deformity? Something else?
