I am having a difficult time convincing a non-coder (non-clinical person) there is a difference between spastic quadriplegia (343.2) and quadriplegia, unspecified (344.00). The clinical notes I am typically seeing refers to patients with cerebral palsy w/ spastic quad. Does anyone have a thoughts how I can prove my case?
