We bill for interpretation of sleep studies, I have always used place of service code 22. We are recently receiving denials from Medicare stating that the place of service code is wrong. I have also tried using the new place of service code 19 which has also been denied.
The studies are done in a sleep lab that is part of the hospital/facility but is not on the campus. Any help would be great!
