Wiki Sleep study -Can 95806 be billed twice?

New to pulmonary coding- Patient had a sleep study. Physician billed 95806 with mod 26 twice one is being denied as duplicate. No G code was billed.

Can 95806 be billed twice? Is a G code also needed?

Is there documentation to support that the patient had two sleep studies performed? It's unlikely that the patient had 2 done in the same day, because I seen providers now ordering the patient to have the take home testing equipment that examines the patient's sleep throughout the night. I would first check for documentation for 2 sleep studies, they may have ordered two and had them done on separate dates.
