I know I am very late to this topic, but I stumbled across this post looking for something else and I figured I may as well answer.
I would look to see what other symptoms or diagnoses are described in the notes. For example, did the doc note say something like, "sleep disorder breathing was seen, characterized by (OSA, wheezing, snoring, hypopnea, etc.)"? Then code that condition or those symptoms.
