We have a new doctor that often performs this surgery and we are trying to determine the most accurate coding combination. He was previously billing 62120, 69979, 69990. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

P R O C E D U R E S P E R F O R M E D :
1. Right temporal craniotomy via the middle cranial fossa
2. Repair of right temporal lobe encephalocele and superior semicircular canal dehiscence with cranioplasty.
3. Microsurgical techniques requiring the use of the operating microscope.
4. Facial nerve electromyography, unilateral cranial nerve supplied
muscles, facial nerve, right (30 minutes monitoring time), with placement of needle electrodes into the orbicularis oculi and orbicularis oris muscles
