Wiki signing up docs on insurance provider portals

When signing one of your Doctors up on an insurance provider portal (e.g. Blue Cross) it asks about "role". I am the Biller and want to have access so I can get status of claims for the Doctor. Is it best to sign up as the Doctor or ok to sign up as the Biller/Billing Company?? Any advantage in going one way or the other?

i use the title of "revenue coordinator"

I usually choose "Biller/Billing Office" and I haven't had any trouble having access to the things I need. Hope that helps.
