Wiki Sign the op report twice???

My doctors dictate their surgeries at the hospital, they get transcribed, and then the doctor reviews and signs the hospital copy. A copy is also sent to us for our billing. Does the doctor need to sign our copy as well? Or does his signature at the hospital cover that?
