Our surgeon is doing an arthroscopy with a tuberoplasty.

I can not find anything in the CPT books for tuberoplasty. Can someone please,
please help ?

The tuberoplasty procedure involves removal of exostoses on the humerus followed by reshaping of the greater tuberosity to create a smooth, congruent acromiohumeral articulation (taken from the above website)
exostosis /ex·os·to·sis/ (ek″sos-to´sis)
1. a benign bony growth projecting outward from a bone surface.

W/ the above being states, I would go w/ 29822, or 29823 depending on the op-note. Logic being if you're removing a bony growth, you are "debriding" the shoulder joint. Or you could go w/ an unlisted code.
