Good Morning All....

My surgeon performed an arthroscopic subacromial bursectomy, and then a mini-open rotator cuff repair.

We have billed for the open r/c repair, CPT 23412 (chronic condition). Would it also be appopriate to bill CPT 29826 for the subacromial bursectomy?

Any thoughts would be appreciated!!!!

depending on documentation, yes, you can bill for 29826 w/ open RCR 23412.
