I believe you will have to use both codes of this code as first CPT 29807 and add on CPT 29826 . Add modifiers LT or RT depending on the surgery report.

I feel like it isn't comparable at all though because you're reaming out the dead bone.
Those two codes involve the tissues, muscles and etc. What do you think?

Ok try CPT 29822 or 29823 per notation which both seem debridement of dead bone. Also these CPT codes are listed under the CPT manual of shoulder decompression. What is the dx code?
