Hello,
An MHNP performs a 90792 where the patient does endorse symptoms of GAD and MDD per the DSM 5 criteria, but becomes increasingly angry and uncooperative when she is asked to discuss treatment options (other than the medication she wants). She walks out without discussing those options. All of the rest of the criteria per CMS requirements are met for a 90792. Should the 90792 be billed? Thanks for your input!
