Please help me in coding postpartum depression in below mentioned scenario.
Patient is admitted for delivery and delivered during this admission.Patient is suffering from postpartum depression which was developed due to previous delivery and is taking medicine for this now.
If we add postpartum depression code alone,it will be misinterpreted as this condition is developed due to current pregnancy.
Can it be coded as Sequelae of previous pregnancy by adding additional code O9A along with postpartum depression code.
