I have an Ortho doc who is dictating a small xray reading at the bottom of his Op notes after he does surgeries such as fracture repair, etc. He wants us to bill out his interpretation (this is for surgeries done in an ASC, not a Hospital, so there is no other radiologist reading these.) However, I have read at various times that these interpretations need to be on a SEPERATE report. By separate, this would mean not included in his op note. Am I right?
