This role will be significant within their consulting practice and will be the ICD-10 Project Lead as well as subject matter expert for Medical Record Review and Coding training. Location is flexible, providing close proximity to a metropolitan airport within the continental US. Travel is estimated at 40%.
The role:
Develop and deliver compliant and current training on medical insurance coding.
Ensure all client organizations are completely satisfied with services provided by the firm. Serve as trusted leader operating with the highest standards of integrity internally and externally.
Become an established advisor to key members of respective client organizations on matters such as billing/medical insurance coding and physician coding/training.
Maintain positive, constructive, impactful and effective relationships with clients and internal partners.
Regularly and effectively communicate in written, verbal, and presentation formats.
Provide useful feedback and market intelligence with senior management to facilitate continued growth and success.

We are looking for someone with:
Bachelor?s Degree is required, MBA a plus. (Professional writing samples)
ICD-10 certification and professional coding certification (e.g., CCS, CCS-P, and/or CPC) from one of the professional associations such as AHIMA or AAPC is required.
Documented experience in billing / medical insurance coding and compliance is required. Substantial knowledge and expertise in community health is highly preferred.
Expert delivery skills and mastery of teaching principles is necessary.
Strong influence and communication skills at every level of the client organizations (Professional writing samples will be requested.)
Demonstrated customer centric behavior and attitude, good judgment and critical thinking skills.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite
