Hi all,
I have a physician that wants to bill the selective cath codes when they insert the cath into the femoral arteries during a cardiac cath. I understand this is bundled by NCCI and I have explained this. is there EVER a time when 93458 and say 36245 would be billable together? I guess I'm trying to ask what would the indication or purpose of overriding the edit be? Separate caths being used or doing an arterial study on the LE arteries during a cardiac cath for a separate vascular issue? I don't want to leave money on the table if there are valid reasons to use m59.
