Would someone be able to please explain the difference between Secondary Osteoarthritis and Post Traumatic Osteoarthritis?

in ICD-9 Cm thewre was no code distinction between secondary OA and Post trauma OA, post trauma OA was to be coded as secondary. In ICD-10 CM there is a separate distinction between post trauma OA and secondary. Post trauma is exactly what it states it is OA due to the underlying condition of having had a fx at that joint. Secondary OA is due to some other underlying condition such as obesity.
