Having a conflict with billing an ED E&M with a SBIRT. I am now getting denied that I cannot bill a 99283 with a 99408, its stating it is being unbundled, I tried adding a 25 modifier and still being denied. Is there something else I need to add or is the Attending not allowed to bill for this at all?
