Can someone tell me what work is involved in 23420 vs 23410/23412? I think my surgeon may be leaving money on the table due to not fully documenting the additional work he is doing and calling it a rotator cuff repair when he may actually be doing the work necessary to meet the code for reconstruction. Also, there is a CPT assistant for 23420. Anyone have that information?
