Wiki Rt common iliac & rt external iliac stents

Could someone please help with coding this

rt common femoral approach..

1. angioplasty and stent in the rt common iliac
2. angioplasty and stent in the rt external iliac.

I have these two codes....

37221-rt
37223-rt

Would these codes be correct? Thanks for any help

I agree. Don't forget that you could bill the angio if no diagnostic testing was done prior. Thanks!

The only thing I would offer is review op notes to be sure this is not a "bridging" lesion. If so you would only possible charge for the one stent placement. I don't see full report so I am not sure if these were to distinct lesions.
