Wiki Right Sided Pain

Cheif complaint is: "Rt sided pain and nausea on and off for 3 weeks." Dx is Right Sided Pain. I can code right sided weekness, but I don't think that really applies to this. Does anyone know how I should code this? Thanks!

I would ask the provider if this is right sided abdominal pain since nausea is involved. Check the chief complaint also, that might tell you.

When I asked the Dr she said it was right sided chest pain. Who would have thought?
