Revision of right total knee of the polyehtylene with reduction in size and removal of scar tissue.

Would you bill 27486-with 52 modifier (scar tissue included?)

or how would you bill this?

*i know for the hip to replace acetabular polyliner only bill 27137-52

is this the same??? Just want to make sure..

Yes on 27486-52 if only 1 component. I know they allow the doc to decide whether the 52 mod is appropraite...and I know my docs avoid the 52. But you're in the right ballpark.
