i have a question and need advise on a case we have . my patient had a posterior fusion with rods from t8 to s1. later on after the procedure was performed the patient had a complication with the rod being to long. we then took the patient back to the operative room and cut the rods down to the correct size. the rod was not taken out it was cut down with bolt cutters. does anyone know a direction i need to go to obtain the correct code? thank you all in advance.
