Patient had a repair of a nonunion of radius and ulnar synostosis 2 months ago. Dr took her back to the operating room the end of June to revise her hardware. When I queried the physician he told he basically just pushed the pin in further (it had backed out and was bothering the patient). I'm assuming I will have to use an unlisted code. But what CPT code would I compare this to. Or is there a code for this that I am not seeing? Any suggestions are GREATLY appreciated!!
