Patient with previous thoracic decompression now with residual compression of spinal cord @ T2-3 level and recurrent compression of spinal cord at T3-4, T4-5 & T7-8.
Doc performs Revision Decompressions at T2-3, T3-4, T4-5 and T7-8 along with PSF T2 - T5.
Unless we have overlooked it, there does not appear to be a specific CPT code for the Revision/Re-Exploration of the T-spine.
My doc wants to bill with the code for the cervical decompression - 63046 & 63048.
Is this correct, or would this be submitted with an unlisted (ugh!) CPT code?
