Hope someone can answer this question for me.

ICD9 (2011) code of 836.51 has following verbage: "ANTERIOR DISCLOCATION OF TIBIA,PROXIMAL END"

yet, BELOW IT APPEARS TO TRIANGLES FACING EACHOTHER (REVISED TEXT SYMBOLS)
and THIS VERBAGE reads: "posterior dislocation of femure, distal end, closed."

So, am I to now apply the 'complete" REVISED TEXT as the current verbage for this code of 836.51. The verbage is 'totally" different from original verbage ???????

I need DX reflecting"posterior" horn meniscus tear(closed)-can anyone help?

Also, if knowledgable, please advise if what is in the facing triangles "now replaces completely" what was previously noted for that DX code or not.

Thanks in advance to all whom reply.
