During medical decision making, under the category for Amount and/or Complexity of Data Reviewed, credit can be given for "Review and summarization of old records. What exactly falls into the category of "old records"?
Example: If my GI doc sees a patient in follow up and lists colon last year under the past medical history portion and then summarizes the findings, does this count as "old records reviewed/summarized"? What if that colonoscopy was performed a week or two ago?
