Hi. Can anyone explain to me what revenue code 00971 means and when it is appropriate to use in the facility or independent lab setting? The description says professional lab fees.. Is there a hcpc code that is appropriate? I have never seen it used before in any setting... Thanks.. Any feedback would be appreciated!
