Does anyone have any ideas for additional resources? I have several claims being denied for LCD's, but there aren't any LCD's listed for these particular services. I am in the process of obtaining encoder pro, until that time, are there other links or resources available?

If you can get your hands on a copy of a Coding Companion book, it has a list of medically necessary diagnoses. It does not always agree with Medicare, but it's a starting point. I know our carrier (Novitas) does not have LCD's for a lot of the surgery codes we bill out, so I usually use this as a resource.

You should be able to look up LCD's through your MAC locally.
