The doctor isn't stating that the pins were bothering the patient, yet he is "resecting" them down to the bone, not removing them. What would be a good CPT code for this procedure? We were thinking of using unlisted with comparison of 20680, but it just doesn't seem correct. Then again I don't like using unlisted codes anyways.
