Can anyone shed some light on this procedure?
Patient previously had a pancreaticoduodenectomy. When the anastomosis was lysed, the pancreaticobiliary limb appeared to be full of clot and evacuated and irrigated. It was suspected that he patient had a bleed from the pancreatic stump which filled the pancreaticobiliary limb which resulted in elevated liver enzymes and biliary obstruction.
Also, any one know the correct coding for a cholangiogram and common bile duct exploration without cholecystectomy?
Any help is greatly appreciated!!
