Wiki Repeat procedure in ER

Hi

I am an Emergency Room coder. I need to know what modifier to use, if any, for a repeat procedure done in the ER during the global period. The patient had and I&D done on a paronychia of the finger and came back 4 days later to have it done again at the same site.

Can I bill for the procedure again (10060)?

are billing for the facility or the physician? The facility has no global so yes bill the procedure with no modifer. The physician dose have a global but a modifer might be possible if more information is available.
