Which modifier would you use for repeat test if the same physician is reading the specimen and interpreting the test. We have been using 91 and have been getting Medicare denials.

If its the same specimen it cannot be billed more than once.

88305-26 x4 if billing just the reading of the slide.

In other words, 88305 is billed in units.
