Patient has surgery and comes to our clinic to have the sutures removed. Our doc did not perform the surgery, just the suture removal. Is this billed as a 99211? Or how is this coded? Thanks for your help.
Since you did not initially put them in, typically it's a low office visit....99211/12. CPT has an example of this in the back of your book. There is also HCPCS code S0630 but I find that many carriers don't pay for this.
